Ex-Navy Spokesman re-remanded

Former Navy Spokesman D.K.P. Dassanayake, who was arrested and remanded in connection with the abduction and disappearance of 11 youths, was re-remanded till August 10 by the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today.

The Commodore was arrested on charges of aiding and abetting in the enforced disappearance of the youths between 2008 and 2009.
