Development in Indian Ocean region and dealing with terrorism should continue simultaneously: RW

Colombo, May 12 (Daily Mirror) - The economic development in the Indian Ocean  region and dealing with terrorism should continue simultaneously, former President Ranil Wickremesinghe said.

Speaking during an event   organised by The Hindu newspaper, Wickremesinghe said India should follow Sri Lanka which undertook development while dealing with terrorism. 

"We undertook to implement the Mahaweli Development project and set up investment zones while dealing with terrorism. Is India going to become the third largest economy in the world or remain as what it is today," he questioned.
