Dayasiri testifies before CID on seeking assistance from President’s Fund

Colombo, June 4 (Daily Mirror) - Opposition MP Dayasiri Jayasekera today testified before the CID on seeking assistance from the President's fund.

MP Jayasekera told the Daily Mirror that he was summoned by the CID today to testify about his seeking assistance from the President's Fund during the last regime.

“I told the CID what I had to say,” he said.

Earlier, Jayasekera offered to repay the amount he bad obtained from the fund.
