Damitha Abeyratne and husband remanded

Colombo, April 05 - Sri Lankan actress Damitha Abeyratne and her husband, who were arrested over the allegations of financial fraud, were remanded until April 17. 

The arrest, made by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), saw the couple produced before the Fort Magistrate’s Court today.

Their legal saga intensified after they surrendered to the Fort Magistrate’s Court yesterday in response to the financial scam allegations.
