DMT Deputy Commissioner, clerk arrested for soliciting bribe

Officers from the Bribery Commission arrested a Deputy Commissioner and a clerk from the Department of Motor Traffic (DMT), along with a broker, for accepting a bribe.

The three individuals were allegedly soliciting a sum of Rs. 300,000 to expedite the transfer of ownership of three buses, according to a statement from the Bribery Commission.
