DM lead story comes to limelight in Parliament

Colombo, Jan. 20 (Daily Mirror) - The lead story of today's Daily Mirror titled 'AI to  threaten 23.8 percent of employed people in Sri Lanka' came to the limelight in Parliament when Opposition MP Harsha de Silva quoted it while highlighting that AI has already affected some jobs. 

"I used to help young people to find internships in IT firms during the past years. However, I was not able to do it during recent times as most of the IT companies in Sri Lanka do not want manpower as they use AI," the MP said.
