Court refuses to lift travel ban on Sanath Nishantha

Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage today rejected a request made by State Minister Sanath Nishantha that his travel ban be temporarily lifted enabling him to go abroad.

The Court had imposed travel ban on Sanath Nishantha in connection with the incidents that took place at Temple Trees and Galle Face on May 9.(Lakmal Sooriyagoda)
