Cop suspended for sending obscene video to fellow cop’s wife

A Policeman on duty on the expressway has been suspended for allegedly sending an obscene video to the wife of fellow constable via WhatsApp.

The husband of the woman who had received the obscene video had lodged a complaint with his senior officer after his wife had described the incident.
 
The constable who was on duty at the Baddegama Interchange affiliated to the Southern Expressway Tourism Division has been suspended following an initial investigation by an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
