Circular issued recalling public servants for duty

A circular has been issued recalling all public servants to duty as usual from today in accordance with Covid-19 Health Guidelines, Public Services, Provincial Councils and Local Government Secretary J.J. Rathnasiri said.

He said more than 50 percent of the population and the majority of public servants have been vaccinated by now.

According to the circular, pregnant mothers, breastfeeding mothers and empoyees who were suffering from chronic diseases should not be called for duty.

Head of the institutions and department heads should ensure that all employees strictly adhere to health guidelines.
