Candidates sitting for A/L & Scholarship exams asked to submit details

The Ministry of Education today requested all students sitting for the Advanced Level examination and the Grade Five Scholarship examination to submit their details including the health status, as a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Accordingly, the ministry said the details of the candidates should be included in the information form that can be obtained from the website of the Ministry of Education at https://info.moe.gov.lk.

“Special attention is being paid to ensure that all students sitting for the Advanced Level and Grade Five Scholarship examinations this year are placed safely at examination centres. Therefore, students from the curfew imposed areas in the Gampaha District and students from other areas who will visit Gampaha to sit for the examinations are expected to give priority in filling out details,” it said.

However, the Ministry highlighted that non-submission of requested information will not be an impediment to sit for the examination.
