COVID affects nearly 200 pregnant women: Dr. Chithramali

Nearly 200 pregnant mothers have contracted coronavirus and they are being treated in hospitals, the Director/Specialist of the Family Health Bureau, Dr. Chitramali de Silva said.

She said about 25 mothers who gave birth to children with coronavirus are currently being treated at the hospital.

Therefore, pregnant women should avoid leaving the house for any reason other than the most pressing.
