Biyagama OIC dies of cardiac arrest

The OIC of the Biyagama Police has passed away this evening after suffering a cardiac arrest, Police said.

They said the OIC was admitted to the Kiribathgoda Hospital following sudden illness this afternoon.

The OIC, a Chief Inspector and a resident of Negombo had reported to duty this morning. The post-moterm inquiry into the death is yet to be carried out. (Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
