Attempted shooting at health official fails in Dehiwala

Colombo, July 24 (Daily Mirror) - An attempted shooting targeting a health administration officer near the S. De S. Jayasinghe Stadium in Dehiwala failed this morning.

It was reported that two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle attempted the shooting. However, the firearm reportedly failed to discharge, forcing the suspects to flee the scene.

Dehiwala Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
