Another fishing trawler in distress, two fishermen missing in Tangalle

Colombo, June 29 (Daily Mirror) - Two fishermen, who went fishing from the Tangalle fishing habour yesterday, went missing after their trawler crashed against a reef.

The missing fishermen are 39 and 49 year-old residents of Pallemalala in Hambantota and Tangalle.

The owner of the trawler lodged a complaint with the Tangalle police this morning over the incident.

Search operations have been launched by the Tangalle Ruhuna naval base after they were informed of the incident.
