15 MPs identified as Rauff Hakeem’s first contacts

Fifteen MPs have been identified yesterday as first contacts of parliamentarian Rauff Hakeem who was tested positive for COVID-19, an official said today.

Serjeant-at-Arms Narendra Fernando told the Daily Mirror that these MPs - 10 from the opposition and five from the government - have been asked to take precautionary measures following the detection.

The parliament authorities traced the first contacts of Mr. Hakeem through CCTV footages installed within the parliamentary premises. (Kelum Bandara)
