Good editorial. It has clearly pointed out the real picture of the government. We are like to read many more like this Mr. Editor.(Before advising the local government politicians the President has to keep his house in order) Kakuluwa adeta yanawa wagey.

Both President's and Sajith Premadasa's talk are only rhetoric.Local Council politicians, although have been elected by the people they have been chosen to contest with the full blessing of the President. Chief Minister is invariably a President's man. I don't think that these foundation stones would have been laid without the knowledge of the Central Government Authorities. If Chief Ministers tried to do the correct things they would have faced the same fate that Thilak Karunarathna had to face. These blunderings and bluffings are not new things or things done in secret. They were continuing processes.
Sajith Premadasa is trying to market his father because there is nothing else markatable for him. He is doing only infighting without making any national strugles against the problems country is facing. President Premadas built these housing schemed about 2 decades ago. Renovating and colour washing them is not a crime or a naional Problem.

Color washing what President Premadasa build is not a problem but removing the plaque bearing his name and Booruwansa erecting another plaque bearing his name is downright disgusting. This fellow is not fit even to polish President Premadas's shoes. In fact most of today's politicians are that.
