Why is Sports Minister Silent?

Following growing calls for the national team and the Sri Lanka Cricket administration to resign immediately, Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage and Deputy Minister Sugath Tillekeratne maintained a stark silence and purposely avoided answering calls from the media. The Daily Mirror attempted several times to contact the duo, but they refused to come on call and give a comment regarding any future plans to improve national cricket.
