Police officers from Parliament test positive for Covid-19

Three police personnel belonging to Parliament police division have been tested COVID-19, positive, Serjeant-at-arms Narendra Fernando confirmed yesterday.   

Mr. Fernando said all police personnel attached to the division have been sent on quarantine to ensure safety.   
“,” he added.   

Earlier around ten members of Parliament staff attached to the Opposition Leaders office were tested COVID-19 positive.   

•  Parliament staff are safe from contracting the disease as they are working from home at the moment
