The four Sri Lankans who were injured in the missile attack in Dimona had ignored security advice given by the Israeli government, the Sri Lankan Ambassador in Israel Nimal Bandara said .
“ I advised all Sri Lankan expatiates in Israel to follow advise given by the Israeli government and take shelter as and when they hear sirens” Bandara said in his latest social media post.
He said the house of a Sri Lankan care giver was also damaged by the bombing.
“ More than 54 people have been injured by debris from a missile attack on the Israeli city of Dimona. The home of a Sri Lankan caregiver, who lives in a nearby single-family house, was also damaged in the attack.Security forces are currently at the scene and are arranging temporary accommodation for those affected. The female caregiver who was not injured in the attack has been employed in Israel for the past 14 years.” he said.
