The father of suicide bomber Alaudeen Ahamed Muaad who blasted himself at St. Anthony’s church, Kochchikade on April 21, 2019 Easter Sunday was yesterday ordered to be further remanded till February 16 by Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court. When the case was taken up before Colombo Chief Magistrate Mohammed Mihal the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) informed the Magistrate it would seek instructions from the Attorney General (AG) to conduct further investigations. Suspect Ahamed Lebbe Alaudeen arrested and remanded over the alleged links to Easter Sunday coordinated terror attack.
