Anthony Felician Gunawardena no more

Anthony Felician Gunawardena, passed away on January 27, 2026. He was remembered by family and friends as a cherished companion whose presence touched all who knew him.   

Born on July 04, 1951 he was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather, his final rites will be observed on Friday (today), January 30, 2026, with a service commencing at 3:30 PM at the family home at 35 Pallansena Road, Kochchikade.  

The funeral cortege is scheduled to depart the residence at 4:00 PM.   

Gunawardena’s family expressed gratitude for the support and condolences offered by friends, neighbours, and the wider community during this time of mourning.
