The Sri Lanka Association of Printers (SLAP) is proud to present the Sri Lanka Print & Trade Fair Exhibition 2026, the country’s premier and largest printing, packaging, labelling, signage and graphic communications exhibition, to be held from 19th to 21st June 2026 at BMICH, Colombo.  

Running parallel to the exhibition, the prestigious Sri Lanka National Print Excellence Awards 2026 will be held on 20th June 2026 at Cinnamon Life, Colombo, recognising and celebrating excellence, innovation, quality and professionalism in Sri Lanka’s printing industry.  

This year’s exhibition is organised under the theme,”Driving Innovation and Sustainability for a Print Future”

The theme reflects the global transformation taking place within the printing and packaging industry through advanced technologies, automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital printing, smart manufacturing, sustainable packaging, and circular economy practices.  

The Sri Lanka Print Expo 2026 has been elevated to international standards and will feature the latest printing and packaging technologies from leading global and local technology providers. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to experience live demonstrations, technical knowledge-sharing sessions, product launches and networking opportunities with industry experts and suppliers.  

More importantly, this exhibition is not limited to the printing and packaging sectors alone. Manufacturers, exporters, apparel companies, pharmaceutical companies, FMCG organisations, educational institutions, entrepreneurs, government agencies and SMEs can all benefit from the innovative and sustainable solutions showcased during the exhibition.  

As part of SLAP’s strategic vision for 2025–2030, we are committed to strengthening the entire printing ecosystem in Sri Lanka. Particular emphasis is being placed on empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) printers across the country through district-level seminars, technical training programmes, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and industry networking opportunities.  

Our objective is to connect MSME printers with larger industry players, technology providers, educational institutions, and policymakers, thereby creating a stronger, more competitive,and globally connected printing industry.  

The Sri Lanka National Print Excellence Awards 2026 will recognise outstanding achievements across various categories, including offset printing, digital printing, flexographic printing, gravure printing, screen printing, packaging, labels, innovation, sustainability and special industry achievements.  

This year’s awards programme has attracted a record level of participation, demonstrating the industry’s commitment to quality excellence and continuous improvement. The awards provide an important platform to benchmark Sri Lankan printing standards against international best practices while encouraging innovation and investment within the sector.  

Thilaka Jayasundara, Secretary to the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurship Developmen will be the Chief Guest at the opening ceremony. We are also privileged to host distinguished international delegates including the leadership of the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) and representatives from major international printing organisations.
