screening of cannes 2024 grand prix winner All We Imagine as Light by Payal Kapadia

South Asian Women in Media (SAWM), Sri Lanka chapter in collaboration with the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka organised the screening of 'All We Imagine As Light' by the award winning director, Payal Kapadia. Recently held at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre in Colombo, invitees to the screening included SAWM SL members, film industry representatives, and movie goers and critics. This film won Kapadia the Grand Prix at the Festival de Cannes 2024. The film has continued its run to the Golden Globes 2025 nominations and won numerous awards, including Best International Film at the Gotham Awards, 2024, and Best Film Prize at the Asian Film Awards 2025 in Hong Kong.
