Sunera Foundation Samanalayaya 2025 Australian High Commission

Marking 25 years of empowering disability inclusion through art, the Sunera Foundation recently presented ‘Samanalayaya 2025’ - its flagship drama festival celebrating the talents of differently-abled youth - at the Lionel Wendt Theatre. Supported by the Australian High Commission, the event brought together finalists from regional workshops across Sri Lanka, featuring original plays and dance performances conceptualised and directed by Sunera trainers. Each act showcased creativity, resilience, and the power of art to inspire inclusion. Through Samanalayaya, the Foundation continues to promote confidence and connection among persons with disabilities, celebrating diversity and the boundless potential of human expression.
