It’s 2026

As we step into a brand new year, there is something quietly powerful about simply being here. 2025 tested us in ways we never expected emotionally, economically, and collectively yet somehow, we endured. We adapted, we learned, we stumbled, and we rose again. In a country that has weathered uncertainty, change, and resilience in equal measure, survival itself became an act of strength.

As we welcome 2026, my hope is for a year that allows us to breathe a little easier, one that brings healing, stability, and moments of genuine joy. May this be a year where kindness leads, compassion guides our choices, and we remember that progress is not always loud, but it is always possible.

while we’re at it, let’s also laugh a little louder, love a little deeper, dress up even when there’s nowhere special to go, and celebrate the small wins because joy, too, is a form of resistance. Here’s to showing up, staying fabulous, and doing 2026 our way.

2025 taught me some hard lessons  and in 2026, I will limit helping people , sorry not sorry - Krys Sosa

2025 was a year of unlearning, grounding, and rebuilding from the inside out. In 2026, I choose purpose over noise, people over ego, and stories that heal more than they impress. - Ayeshmantha Jayasinghe

2025 didn’t teach me anything  and I learned that it’s ok  to be like that. - Tamara Dirckze

Resilience- stay positive and keep boxing on despite all the challenges life hurls at you! - Asita Amerasinghe

Strength in mind and my heart in the right place - best wishes for a good 2026 - Neomal De Alwis

2025 taught me that nurturing the friendships and relationships with my closest people will enrich all of our lives. It forced me to take my health and body seriously, not as an afterthought but as a priority. Most importantly, 2025 taught me to grow and level up in silence. That not everything needs to be announced, explained or put on display. In silence, you can really grow. 2025 has been one of my favourite years so far. In 2026, I want to take those lessons to heart and  show up consistently for my health, taking care of the body, my mind lives in, and continue to nurture the people who fuel my life. - Saasha
