German Embassy Day of German Unity

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, hosted a reception recently to mark the Day of German Unity at Hilton Colombo. Celebrated annually on October 3rd, the Day of German Unity commemorates the reunification of East and West Germany in 1990. The evening brought together dignitaries, government officials, diplomats, business leaders, and friends of Germany and Sri Lanka to celebrate the strong and growing ties between Germany and  Sri Lanka. Guests enjoyed an evening of warm hospitality and mutual appreciation, reflecting the shared values and longstanding friendship between the two nations.
