Chef Paolo Collavini Worldwide Week of Italian Cuisine @Villa Roma



Recently, the Italian Embassy in Colombo hosted the launch of the 10th edition of the Worldwide Week of Italian Cuisine at the Ambassador’s Residence. Centred on the theme of Aperitivo and Stuzzichini, the evening celebrated Italy’s longstanding tradition of socialising over a drink and small bites. The theme not only highlighted a vibrant facet of Italian culinary culture but also brought attention to ongoing customs issues affecting the import of Aperol and Campari - key ingredients in the globally beloved Aperol Spritz and Campari Spritz. For the occasion, Chef Paolo Collavini, an Italian culinary expert with over 30 years of international experience, presented a selection of signature creations that beautifully showcased Italy’s rich gastronomic heritage.
