Butterflies Are Free invites audiences to explore what it truly means to be free—through the eyes and expressions of over 40 artists, both children and adults. Led by Rhuani Rambukwelle, the exhibition uses the butterfly as a symbol of transformation, resilience, and freedom. “Butterflies don’t ask for permission to be beautiful. They just are,” says Rhuani, whose vision was to create a space for unfiltered artistic expression.
The artworks explore freedom in many forms—of thought, identity, and creativity—blending vibrant visuals with powerful messages. Entry is free, reflecting the belief that art belongs to everyone.
Like butterflies, artists are vital to life: they sense change, inspire reflection, and spread ideas that help us grow. Both remind us of the beauty and fragility of freedom—and the need to protect it. Butterflies Are Free is more than an art show. It’s a tribute to creativity, courage, and the quiet power of transformation.
