BSC Christmas Carnival

The British School in Colombo recently held its Christmas Carnival at the school premises in support of communities affected by recent floods. All surplus proceeds will be directed towards flood-relief efforts. Students took the lead, supported by the newly formed BSC Parent Collective, managing stalls, volunteering as photographers, raising funds, and partnering with organisations such as Child Action Lanka and the school’s Hope Society. Alumni contributions further strengthened the spirit of community. Shaped by student and parent feedback, the carnival focused on sustainability, limited attendance to the BSC community, and highlighted the power of collective action in challenging times.
