Association of Former Staff of Ladies’ College Songs We Grew Up With The De Lanerolle Brothers

The concert ‘Songs We Grew Up With’, presented by the Association of Former Staff of Ladies’ College in aid of a medical fund for retired teachers, was recently held at the LC Mabel Simon Hall.  The evening featured captivating performances by The De Lanerolle Brothers with pianist Neranjan De Silva, alongside LC alumni vocalists Seneli Premaratne, Peshali Yapa, Anushka Abhayaratne, Dinushka Jayawickreme, Devashrie De Silva, and Malinthi De Silva. The Junior, Intermediate, and Senior choirs also impressed the crowd with their lively renditions. A packed audience added to the vibrant atmosphere, enthusiastically applauding and joining in during familiar songs, making it a warm and memorable musical celebration.
