The President's Office today said that there had been no request by the controversial Hindu guru Nityananda, to seek asylum in Sri Lanka as reported by the Indian media.
Officials from the President's Office told Daily Mirror that despite reports stating that the Hindu Priest had sent a letter to President Ranil Wickremesinghe, requesting a medical visa to enter the country and then seek asylum here, there had been no such request.
"Even the foreign ministry has received no such request," the official said.
Indian media had reported last week that self-styled godman and rape accused Nityananda had written a letter to President Ranil Wickremesinghe on August 7, citing the deterioration in his health.
Nithyananda said in the letter that he needed 'immediate' medical care. The letter also referred to the lack of medical infrastructure in the sovereign state of Srikailasa, a so-called island founded by himself. He had said that his country lacks medical infrastructure.
This so called island is situated off the Ecuador coast.
The so called Foreign Minister of Srikailasa, in the letter, also requested Sri Lanka to start diplomatic relations with his so-called country, the Indian Media reported.
Seeking a safe passage for Nityananda, his minister said that Srikailasa would also bear the cost of medical treatment and everything else. It said, "Srikailasa will purchase and bring any medical equipment necessary for the treatment of SPH and will bear all medical expenses incurred in Sri Lanka. In addition, we, in our gratitude, leave medical equipment worth millions of dollars in Sri Lanka. Will give."
The letter also mentioned Nityananda's offer to invest in Sri Lanka.

Give him a chance to enter Sri Lanka and order the doctors to CHOP his PENIS immediately pretending as doing treatment. It seems a good chance to save the WOMEN living worldwide with their self respect and dignity.

It's high time, our President's Office appoint a committee to repatriate all the so-called ministers, prime ministers, ill gotten wealth etc of bogus TGTE too. It's a complete joke and an insult to intelligence. A country out of thin air?. Compared to this, the Hinduism's Supreme Priest (SPH) His Holiness Sri Nityananda Paramasivam has at least an island to call Sri Kailasa for his state.
