President Media gets new unit to counter disinformation

One of major faults of RW is that he is not bothered to answer any of the disinformation the opposition dish out to tarnish his name. Whilst it has its good side, in the long run it has done unrepairable damage to his image mainly due to his personality. Once, even Victor Ivan had made a comment saying whilst Gota has been inflated by the media, RW has been wrongly vilified

This unit will cause more money printed funds to be used. Where is the media about inflation caused by the money printing. The inflation crisis that keeps continuing with the continued money printing provided payments to military and other far less useful elements is being suppressed!

Not only disinformation it must be a hotline withTelephone,Whatsapp and email etc. to solve the problems of the suffering masses. It should not be justifying,rejecting and defending Unit.Our Politicians are very clever on that.

This is a welcome to "FEARLESS JOURNALISTS" whether they are fulltime with major or national newspapers/media or "FREELANCE JOURNALIST" like the undersigned who contribute content as articles of "COMMENTS" in print, digital, electronic or internet publications. But the problem is that the gatekeepers always block the best and truthful news/analytic comments and allow only content that is advantageous to their motives and objectives. This is a good and welcoming action by the government. We support such action. Having said this I would like to inquire what action the government taking against the disinformation campaign by the Tamil diaspora. They make daming accusations against the Sri Lankan government, which the unsuspecting international community believes in. One such instant is the accusations made by a Tamil bogus refugee family in Australia recently. The SL government did not challenge it. This came in Australia 's tv broadcast.The So, my request is to pay more attention to such stories.
