Become Second Runner-Up at Mrs World pageant

Sabina Yousaf, who represented Sri Lanka at the 41st Mrs World pageant in the United States, returned to the country yesterday following an impressive performance at the international competition, where she secured the Second Runner-Up title and won the Mrs Photogenic mini-title while also placing among the Top 20 contestants.  

The grand finale of the pageant was held on January 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada, bringing together contestants from more than 60 countries competing for the prestigious Mrs World crown.  

Yousaf arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake, at 2.45 a.m. aboard Qatar Airways flight QR-662 from Doha.  

She received a warm welcome at the airport’s Gold Route passenger terminal from a large group of supporters and well-wishers.
