Middle East on the edge as Iran launches attack on Qatar

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) officially confirmed that it launched a retaliatory missile attack targeting the American al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Iran’s Tasnim news agency reports said. There has been an attack on a US base in Iraq as well.   

IIt was also reported that U.S.President Donald Trump has called for an emergency security council meeting.  In another development the UAE announced closure of its air space while it was anticipated that Pakistan will also do the same. Baharain and Jordan had also closed their airspace at the time this this report went to press.
