A special Sri Lankan Airlines flight carrying 73 Sri Lankan students from Dhaka, Bangladesh, who were stranded due to COVID- 19, arrived at the BIA yesterday. 

The national carrier has been engaged in bring in Sri Lankan students from India during the past few days as well . One hundred and twenty two students had been  brought in by Sri Lankan Airlines flight UL 1193 which departed on Sunday April 26 2020.   

The government, security forces, Airport and Aviation Authority and the national carrier carried out the exercise together.
