The Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) has taken steps to start fogging vulnerable areas in the Colombo municipality as a precautionary measure to control mosquitoes. The spread of dengue has been witnessed in Colombo during recent times while it was informed during a progress review meeting chaired by President Ranil Wickremesinghe that the spread of dengue has been contained in the Western and Central Provinces. Fogging would only kill grown mosquitoes, not the young or eggs. Its only a temporary solution and also have some side effects to humans. Better all keep your house and surrounding always clean and tidy. Make sure the lands are not holding any water and not wet surface. Don't avoid mosquitoes nets.

PANATHI PATH WERA MANI... Sorry, mosquitoes, the intention here isn't to kill you, but to protect humankind, preventing the spread of diseases. So, citizens, it's time to team up and show our support. Let's ditch the breeding grounds and sail together in the same boat.
