Tea, rubber auctions postponed
The tea and rubber auction that was scheduled for today has been postponed, the Traders Associations said.
The Colombo Tea Traders Association and the Colombo Rubber Traders Association announced that the auctions that were to be held today will not proceed as planned due to the ongoing crisis situation in the country.
While the Colombo rubber auction has been postponed to a later date, the tea auction Tea Auction sale No. 18 is planned to be held on 11 May (Wednesday) and 12 May (Thursday).
However, the Tea Traders Association said its committee will review the position today.
