STC TechSphere 2026 brings global engineering leaders to Colombo



Swedish Trading Company (Private) Limited (STC) successfully hosted STC TechSphere 2026 recently at Shangri-La Colombo, bringing together industry leaders, engineers, business owners and international principals for an evening of technical knowledge-sharing and industry dialogue.

Held under the theme ‘Legacy of Excellence – Building on Decades of Trust’, the event marked over 40 years of representation of global engineering brands Atlas Copco and SKF in Sri Lanka, while also introducing SUTO iTEC of Germany, a specialist in compressed air measurement and monitoring solutions, as STC’s newest principal partner.

The event featured technical presentations by regional leadership teams from SKF, Atlas Copco and SUTO iTEC, focusing on energy-efficient compressed air solutions, predictive maintenance, reliability engineering and smart digital monitoring systems aligned with Industry 4.0 applications. 

A high-level panel discussion brought together STC CEO and Director Lasith Senanayake, SKF Industrial Aftermarket India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka National Sales Head Chetandeep Singh, Atlas Copco Singapore and Malaysia General Manager Khalid Sheikh, SUTO iTEC Founder and CEO Thomas Fischer and National Cleaner Production Centre Senior Energy Expert and Operations Manager Eng. Ruwan Wijemanne.
