Prime Lands Residencies PLC has reached a significant construction milestone with the topping out of Tower Cosmos, one of The Colombo Border development’s three residential towers.
The completion of the 20-story tower’s superstructure, ahead of schedule, reinforces the company’s reputation for engineering excellence and disciplined project execution.
The topping out ceremony marks a pivotal moment in the development timeline, signalling the completion of Tower Cosmos’ structural framework and setting the stage for interior finishing work. The tower’s 20 floors will house 152 apartments, with each unit consisting of a two-bedroom residence. Currently on track for completion by December 2027, Tower Cosmos’ units are currently all sold out.
Tower Cosmos was delivered ahead of schedule by Prime Construction (Pvt.) Ltd, the group’s in-house construction arm, demonstrating the company’s integrated project delivery capabilities.
The Colombo Border project has been developed under the guidance of an experienced professional team, including Project Architect Anil Kumarage, Structural Engineer Laksiri Cooray, MEP Consultants and NJ Consultants headed by Noel Joseph.
The project also benefits from the expertise of Professor Thisan Jayasinghe from the University of Moratuwa serving as Structural Peer Review Consultant and Professor Nalin De Silva, also from the University of Moratuwa, providing geotechnical engineering services.
Tower Amaá is also being built by Prime Construction, while Tower Brielle is being delivered through collaboration with Sanken Construction (Pvt.) Ltd, demonstrating Prime’s ability to work effectively with leading industry partners.
