The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) invited this week industry associations and the general public to submit views and suggestions on the financial consumer protection draft regulations.
The regulations are expected to define specific regulatory powers for the supervisors to facilitate market conduct supervision, the CBSL said in a statement.
Submissions on the draft regulation, accessible on cbsl.gov.lk, are to be shared on or before 17 February 2023 by post (No. 30, Janadhipathi Mawatha, Colombo 01), fax (+94 112477744), or email (fcrd@cbsl.lk) addressed to the Financial Consumer Relations Department.
