DSI introduces ‘Nirogi’ shoe range for diabetic patients

Introducing yet another range of shoes catering to a forte of customers in Sri Lanka, DSI has set out to launch ‘Nirogi’, a shoe range designed with diabetic patients in mind. 
The range introduced is a result of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) initiated in alliance with the Nirogi Lanka Project of the Sri Lanka Medical Association and D. Samson and Sons (Pvt.) Ltd, under the brand Nirogi. 

The specially-designed and manufactured diabetic shoe range is aimed towards providing diabetes patients with ulcer free feet, to experience a comfortable and therapeutic relief from daily walking routines without causing harm to their feet. The principal goal of Nirogi is to prevent complications such as strain, ulcers or calluses from occurring. 
DSI launched the new range as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) towards its loyal Sri Lankan clientele who continue to be the biggest strength behind DSI’s brand image. 

The Nirogi shoe range will comprise of sandals and shoes that will be available at a reasonable price (Rs.799.90 onwards), pertaining with all matters of specific diabetic customer requirements. The range will not only be comfortable and specially-enhanced with comfort in comparison to ordinary footwear but will also encompass elements of simple style that would blend into the customer’s preferred taste. This version of diabetic footwear will help patients lead full and active lives without having to fear for their feet. 

Nirogi products will be available at selected DSI showrooms located in cities such as Anuradhapura, Avissawella, Borella, Dehiwela, Dambulla, Embilipitiya, Galle, Gampaha, Jaffna, Kandy, Kurunegala, Maradana, Matara, Narahenpita, Negombo, Nugegoda, Nuwara Eliya, Colombo (Pettah), Ragama and Ratnapura.
