Union Assurance hosted Sampath Bank Life Leads Annual Awards 2025 at Cinnamon Life, Colombo, bringing together the senior management from both Union Assurance and Sampath Bank, alongside the employees representing the bank’s islandwide branch network. 

The event recognised the outstanding contributions of branch employees whose daily customer interactions continue to drive the success of the two institutions’ Life Lead partnership.

Built on a shared vision, the partnership between Union Assurance and Sampath Bank continues to expand access to life insurance solutions across Sri Lanka through one of the country’s most extensive banking networks. The Life Leads Annual Awards, now an established milestone in the bancassurance partnership calendar, reflects the joint commitment of both institutions in recognising the individuals behind the partnership’s continued success. 

Awards were presented across multiple performance categories, honouring top-performing Sampath Bank employees from across the network. Recognitions included Best Introducer, Best Branch, Best Regional Managers and Best Chief Manager awards representing excellence across the full breadth of the Life Lead channel. Special awards were also presented to the Top Life Leads Champion and National Level Top Achiever.
