The Public Relations Association of Sri Lanka (PRASL), in collaboration with SCoRe, is to present a pioneering professional development workshop titled ‘Unlocking the Power of AI’ that is specifically intended for public relations and communications professionals navigating the media, messaging and technological landscape of the future.  

SCoRe Dean and Co-Founder Hemant Gaule, a renowned educator and thought leader in artificial intelligence, behavioural psychology and communications, will lead an intensive, hands-on workshop. 

With more than 10 years of experience mentoring more than 500 students worldwide and teaching over 2,500 communication professionals, Gaule offers unparalleled insight into how AI may be used to revolutionise strategic communication. 

NH Collection Colombo has been confirmed as the official hospitality partner for the two-day workshop, scheduled to take place on June 5 and 6, 2025. Hosted on the NH Collection Colombo premises, the workshop will deliver hands-on learning, expert insights and forward-thinking discussions on the practical use of AI in public relations.

In addition to exploring the potential and constraints of generative AI, participants will acquire a deeper comprehension of how AI may improve PR and communication tactics and learn how to effectively use these tools in daily tasks. Additionally, the workshop will include interactive simulations that will lead participants through real-world exercises in workflow automation, content creation and campaign research. It will also cover important ethical issues such as data privacy, plagiarism, false information and how AI affects human creativity and professional abilities.
