Nestle wins ‘Best IR Practice Award’

Nestlé Lanka Ltd won the Industrial Relations Best Practices Award – In memory of  Franklyn Amerasinghe at the EFC National Best Employer Awards 2025, recognising its exemplary industrial relations practices. 

The award honours the legacy of Franklyn Amerasinghe, a labour relations expert, former Director General of the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon, and international specialist with the ILO. 

Nestlé Lanka was recognised for its effective dispute prevention, transparent employee engagement, timely collective agreements, and robust grievance-handling mechanisms, reinforcing its reputation as a benchmark employer in fostering harmonious and sustainable workplace relations.
