Labour Department closes for maintenance

The Labour Department has announced that several of its services, including the payment of funds to its members, will be temporarily suspended for three days starting today.

The Department’s Commissioner General said that the suspension is necessary to carry out essential maintenance work in the department’s computer network.

Accordingly, services will remain unavailable until Friday, May 23.

The affected services include: payment of full Employees’ Provident Fund benefits (K application), payment of deceased members’ benefits (L application), payment of 30 percent Employees’ Provident Fund benefits, registration of AHs, registration of new institutions, and processing of B cards.
