LCB Finance appoints Prof. Roshan Ajward as director

LCB Finance announced the appointment of a new Director, Professor Roshan Ajward with effect from September 2025.  

Ajward is a Professor in Accounting in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ). 

He currently serves as one of the Co-Chairs of the Research Council at University of Sri Jayawardenepura and is the Coordinator of the Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) Degree Programme.

His research interests focus on corporate governance, auditing, ethics, and financial reporting. He holds a B.Sc. in Accountancy (Special) Degree with First Class Honours and a Gold Medal, an MBA (2009) with First in Order of Merit, and a PhD from the Waseda University, Japan (2012). 

He is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (CMA). Prof. Ajward’s expertise and knowledge will contribute towards achieving on going ambitious expansion plans of LCB Finance PLC.
