Hayleys Mobility Limited, the mobility arm of Hayleys Fentons Limited, expanded Sri Lanka’s premium hybrid SUV segment on Thursday, June 4, with the official press launch and unveiling of the all-new JAECOO J5 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) at the OMODA & JAECOO Flagship Store at the Altair premises in Colombo 2. 

The high-profile unveiling introduces a high-performance, fuel-efficient new-energy vehicle designed to meet growing domestic demand for eco-friendly luxury transportation.

The premium vehicle enters the local market with a competitive price tag of LKR 19.9 million. 

To mark the launch, the company announced an exclusive introductory LKR 1 million discount for the first 100 customers, alongside a comprehensive 7-year vehicle warranty and an 8-year battery warranty.

Officials at the event highlighted that the JAECOO J5 HEV combines advanced smart-car features with cutting-edge hybrid infrastructure, positioning it as a strategic alternative for urban commuters navigating volatile energy costs.
