Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Limited made a strong impression at the Profood, Propack & Agbiz 2025 exhibition, held recently at the BMICH, with a showcase themed ‘Grow, Innovate, Thrive’.
This year’s participation focused on providing visitors with an immersive experience, reflecting the company’s commitment to advancing innovation in agriculture. A key highlight was the E-Kubota tractor VR experience, which allowed the participants to virtually operate a tractor in muddy field conditions. Designed to engage the next generation of agriculture enthusiasts, the initiative underscored the company’s emphasis on agri mechanisation and digital solutions.
Hayleys Agriculture also presented a live tasting station through Sunfrost (Pvt.) Limited, spotlighting the ‘Govi Aruna’ brand, available in leading supermarkets, alongside a growing portfolio of plant-based and health-focused products. The visitors sampled coconut roti and string hoppers made from Butterfly Pea Flower and Moringa Leaf Flour, masala-flavoured sweet corn cups, vegan burger patties, sweet corn nuggets and peanut butter, reflecting its commitment to sustainable and vegan-friendly innovations in line with the global consumer demand.
The Animal Health Division showcased its pet and livestock care portfolio, together with advanced food and other testing kits such as the Total Aflatoxin ELISA and Solus Salmonella ELISA test kits, reinforcing Hayleys’ role in ensuring food safety and quality assurance across the agri-value chain.
The exhibition highlighted the breadth of Hayleys Agriculture’s operations, spanning Agri equipment, animal health, environmental management services, landscaping solutions, crop protection and planting materials, fertilizers and value-added agriculture produce for local and export markets.
Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Managing Director Jayanthi Dharmasena stated, “Our aim this year was to give the stakeholders and consumers a first-hand experience of how agriculture is evolving through digitisation and innovation. From immersive mechanisation to advanced testing solutions and sustainable food innovations, we are working to prepare Sri Lanka’s agriculture sector to grow, innovate and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.”
