GPS Health announces partnership with Co-Operative Insurance

GPS Health announced a strategic partnership with Co-Operative Insurance and the launch of its new digital platform GPS Health, the very first Sri Lankan software exclusively for medical insurance claims. 

This marks a significant milestone in the Sri Lankan insurance and software industry.

GPS Group, pioneers in the BPO and education industry, decided to enter the health services industry with its new medical claim management system GPS Health. 

The launch of the platform and signing of the memorandum of understanding between the two parties were held recently. GPS Group Chairman Paranitharan Nadarajah alongside CEO Evangeline Paranitharan, COO Lakshika Sampathawaduge and Co-Operative Insurance CEO Priyankara Rajapaksha were present at the event.  

The platform is designed to deliver speed, trust and total transparency within the healthcare industry, making it convenient for patients, hospitals and insurance providers. Through the platform, the patients can submit claims, the insurance providers can monitor real-time hospitalisations and hospital discharges are settled with no waste of time, which benefits both the patients and hospitals. Sri Lanka has witnessed the rise of technology within the island that would be utilised by global entities.
