First Capital Holdings PLC successfully hosted a two-day event in recently, aimed at educating the region on wealth creation and growth opportunities through capital markets. 

Conducted under the theme ‘Growing Wealth Through the Power of Capital Markets – Meet the Experts from Sri Lanka’s Leading Investment Institution’, the initiative represented a significant step in bringing practical investment knowledge and business advisory insights to the Northern region.

The sessions, held at Hotel Thinnai (in collaboration with The Management Club – Jaffna Chapter and Consultant Doctors) and at Hotel Jetwing Jaffna, brought together business leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs, offering guidance on building personal wealth through capital markets and scaling up business operations.

Key speakers included First Capital Holdings Chairman Rajendra Theagarajah, First Capital Asset Management CEO Kavin Karunamoorthy and First Capital Holdings Vice President Corporate Finance and Advisory Atchuthan Srirangan. Discussions highlighted smarter alternatives to traditional savings and the importance of regional participation in inclusive economic growth.
